Royal Maya Ceremony
The Maya Riviera's picture-perfect Caribbean coastline and tropical mystique call out for a Maya-inspired wedding on the beach. The "Royal Maya Ceremony" Wedding Package brings the romance of pre-Hispanic tradition alive with an authentic Shaman, live music and dancers. The package includes:
- Beachfront setting with floral arch of local tropical flowers and torches
- Bride's bouquet and groom's boutonniere
- Royal Mayan Ceremony conducted by a Shaman, with pre-Hispanic music and dancers
- Table setting for a romantic candle- and torch-lit dinner on the beach (food and beverage not included)
- Photographer and photos
- Personalized organization of all wedding details by Wedding Coordinator
- A Judge to prepare required documents, perform civil ceremony and issue marriage certificate with apostille (authenticity seal)
Good Wish Maya Ceremony
The "Good Wish Maya Ceremony" is a reaffirmation of marital vows involving potent symbols, objects and rituals from the ancient Maya in a communion with nature. Enacted on the beach, the bride wears a hand-made Maya dress and the groom wears a hand-made guayabera (Yucatan shirt). A ceremonial exchange of daisy flower bracelets is performed in Mayan, as stirring drums beat within the jungle and a conch-shell horn signals the ritual's transformations. Flower petals are strewn across the waves to preserve the couple's good wishes.
